Basic Life Support Training provided first – aid training during January 2009 to 5 employees.

Primeserve presented a Scaffold erecting and a scaffold inspecting course to 2 employees during January 2009.

Basic Life Support Training provided first – aid training during February 2009 to 1 employee.

During February 2009 Dekra Norisko provided training to one of our employees in the SHE Supervisor and Risk Assessment course.

During May 2009 Afrisam was at the New Referral Hospital site in Upington and gave a lecture to 13 of the bricklayers on site. He explained to them the safe use of dagga for the process of bricklaying. They also provided training to 5 employees for the safe use of a concrete mixer.

During May 2009 Hilti provided training for 10 people in the safe usage of a Nail Gun (DX-460).

In May 2009 Dekra Norisko provided training to one of our employees for the SHEMTRAC course.

Sedibeng Training centre provided training for 3 employees in the operating of the mobile crane at the New Referral Hospital site in Upington during May 2009.  2 Employees got training in rigging and slinging.

Bobcat was at the New Referral Hospital site in Upington during May 2009 and provided training to 3 employees in the operating of the new S175 Bobcat.

Corobrick was at the New Referral Hospital site in Upington during June 2009 and training was given for the correct way of laying bricks, 29 employees attended the training. Corobrick also trained 21 employees for laying face bricks.

Valsir was at the New Referral Hospital site in Upington during April 2010 and provided training on the installation of Gerberit HDPE Piping. The training involved both a theoretical overview as well as a practical session where employees were assisted in cutting and welding of HDPE Pipes.
